On April 18th, 2019, Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen (NEWGLSF) will be having their General meeting and Fish Fry at the City Limits. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm and the speaker will be announced at the meeting. Lunch and Raffles will follow. Remember, the May meeting will be their Swap Night and Brat Fry. 2019 Memberships can be paid for at this meeting. Tom and Kelli will be at the meeting to collect them.
2019 Camp Scholarships: 2019 applications for children of NEWGLSF members are available for children wishing to attend an outdoor camp program. Examples of some of the camps children might be interested in attending would be Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H camps, camps for children with disabilities, horseback riding camps, hunter safety camps or adventure camps. There are a numerous camp opportunities listed on this website: http://www.wisconline.com/sttractions/camps/index.html.
The Memorial Camp Scholarship Camp Fund was created in the name of former club member Robert Dumovich, who passed away in July 2009 and by Wayne Utterstedt, whose mother passed away in January 2010. We expect to award the scholarships at the May general meeting. Scholarship Applications and information is available on their website: newglsf.org.
ROCKS ALERT: Remember Brown Trout Fishermen, there are lots of rocks South of Manitowoc. We all understand that the Lake is up this year and many of the rocks may now be deep enough to go over, but please be careful. The Rock Locations are still on the website, but this just gives you an idea of the location and is not for navigation, SO BE CAREFUL !
