Mossy Oak Fishing Extends HS Contingency Program

WEST POINT, MS – Mossy Oak Fishing recently launched the Mossy Oak Fishing High School Contingency Program. Anglers across the country were just starting to compete and submit results when COVID-19 led to the cancelling of all high school tournaments, nationwide.
As a response to COVID-19, Mossy Oak Fishing is extending the window to submit results until July 2021. All current results that have been submitted will remain as valid entries that will all be applied to the current competing window that ends in July 2021.
Mossy Oak Fishing launched the contingency program in February 2020 as a way to give back to high school anglers nationwide and to support their current and future fishing efforts. The program is available for all high school fishing teams competing in any B.A.S.S. Nation and B.A.S.S. High School fishing tournaments. Mossy Oak Fishing is awarding the top 25 teams with cash prizes, with first place paying $10,000. With over $20,000 being offered in the form cash to the winning teams, this program serves as an investment into high school bass anglers and their future as women and men in the outdoors.
In addition to fishing for life-changing payouts, competitors will also have access to exclusive deals and discounts from industry-leading partners of Mossy Oak Fishing, ranging a considerable variety of product categories.
High school fishing team coaches are encouraged to register their teams immediately. Coaches will have the ability to backdate entries to January 1, 2020.
