DAIWA’s new premium PROREX Stein musky rods to be unveiled at the Wisconsin Fishing Expo

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA (February 20, 2025) – In what has now become a tradition with DAIWA’s on-going sponsorship of the Wisconsin Fishing Expo, the legacy tackle company will again be in Madison this weekend introducing new 2025 gear.

Musky enthusiasts will be the some of the first to see DAIWA’s new PROREX Stein Musky Rods, its new top-of-the-line series that matches up well with DAIWA’s Lexa™ HD 500 and PROREX TW baitcasting reels. The three new 9’8” PROREX Stein rods have a removable handle secured with DAIWA’s innovative V-Joint technology and feature lightweight and study rod blanks employing DAIWA’s SVF Nanoplus graphite and X45 Bias construction, and are offered in Heavy, X-Heavy and XX-Heavy actions to manage lure weights up to two-pounds.

DAIWA again shows its support for Wisconsin and Midwest anglers by assisting the show producers in bringing in top fishing talent for seminars, including the always popular bass pro Ish Monroe talking tournament fishing, along with 2024 National Walleye Trail champion Tom Huynh sharing his infinite walleye knowledge. Both will be hosting seminars on Saturday and Sunday.

“We’re well aware of the fishing tackle needs of anglers throughout the Midwest and continue our support of the many fishing events like the Wisconsin Fishing Expo, as well as the National Championship Musky Open each August in Eagle River,” said DAIWA Marketing Manager, Marc Mills.

“Our crew of company personnel, area sales reps, and knowledgeable pro staffers look forward to showcasing all our new tackle introduced over the past year, including our TD Eye walleye rods, which were first introduced at the 2024 Wisconsin Fishing Expo.

DAIWA will again treat anglers to special ‘value added’ items, including spools of its new XBRAID with the purchase of DAIWA tackle from participating dealers. Anglers can also score one of DAIWA’s special AFTCO performance fishing shirts with the purchase of select bass fishing-focused TATULA rods and reels.
