Subject:     Manitowoc Unit September Meeting

The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game announces that their upcoming August meeting will be held on the Second Wednesday of the month, on Wednesday, September 13^th, 2023.  Meetings are at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 thru October, when they will move to the Manitowoc Gun Club.  They begin at 7pm and are open to members and the public.  There is generally a speaker and short business meeting.  Lunch and refreshments are offered.

The September meeting will feature Manitowoc County District Attorney Jacalyn LaBre.  She will update the group on legal proceedings in the area and take questions from those in attendance.

It was also announced that on Friday, October 27^th, the Manitowoc Unit will be bringing back its popular Fish & Game Family Fun Night at 7 Lakes Golf and Dining.  Scheduled from 4 to 9pm, the event is the club’s only fundraiser and will feature the full 7 Lakes Friday menu, with a portion of the proceeds of each meal sold to benefit the Unit.  There will be raffles and drawings throughout.

Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.  It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors. It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
