YOUTH SHOOTING:  Scott Skattebo has started the dry fire system operation again on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4-8 pm.  If you would like to see how it operates, or shoot it, feel free to stop out.  The youth shooting program will begin with orientation March 2nd at noon.  Info was sent out to all the local schools, and there has been a lot of contact and interest in the youth program.
Scott has received the tickets for the youth raffle.  If you would like some tickets to sell, or a poster to put up, please contact Scott Skattebo at (920)629-0370.  The youth shoot will be held Thursday, May 16th through Sunday, May 19th this year.  Lots of help is going to be needed.  Donations are also greatly appreciated.  Here is a link to the donation letter.

Clubhouse Restroom Addition:  We are on the list for SMI to draw out plans for the addition, and get the required permits.  They are 2-4 weeks out.  Ballpark price for their services is $3,000-$4,000, so we will have them draw out one plan, rather than spending for multiple options.  The addition will be the size dictated by SMI to house a men’s restroom with 2 urinals, a stall, and a sink, a women’s restroom with 2 stalls and a sink, and a utility room to house the water heater, slop sink, and other utilities.  We’ll keep updating on this project.

REGISTERED SKEET SHOOT:  We will be hosting a registered skeet shoot on July 21st and 22nd.  There will be 5 events.  Flyers with additional information will be coming.

HUNTER’S SAFETY:  Hunter’s safety field portion will be held at MGC Saturday, March 30th and April 6th from 8-1.  We will need some extra help at 9:30-10.

-Thank you to Dale Hietpas and Clover Road Mechanical for updating our furnace and air conditioning, and for coming in significantly under budget.

-Membership agreed to donate $50 to the Walleye’s for Tomorrow Banquet as we have done in the past.

-Please make sure you renewed your membership for 2019.

Remember you can rent the clubhouse for private parties.  The cost is $100, but if you clean up the clubhouse afterwards, then $50 will be refunded.  See the bar director Rod Smith to make reservations.

The next meeting will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 5th at the clubhouse.

Thank You,

Nick Sieracki
Club Vice President
