Managing Invasive Plants on Your Property with Goat Grazing – Demonstration Day
Join us on Thursday, September 1st from 5pm – 7pm as we present a successful case of goat grazing to manage woody invasive plants. This event is free to attend and will cover each step of the process of treating invasive plants with goat herbivory at the project site.

Goat Herbivory is an effective but less used method of managing woody species like buckthorn, autumn olive, and honeysuckle. Kettle Moraine Grazing, LLC has been working with Glacierland RC&D and the landowners at the project site in Manitowoc county over the last few years to clear dense invasive brush in an ecologically sensitive area that the landowners did not want to treat with herbicide. Now we want to share the results with others who may benefit from goat grazing projects on their property and demonstrate the process from beginning to end.
Funding for this project was provided by a grant from the USDA Forest Service. USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer, and lender.
