California tries to address gun violence by regulating something other than guns: ammunition. As the New York Times notes in its analysis, bullets are easier to buy than cold medicine in some parts of the country. California cities Sacramento and Los Angeles have reversed that trend within their borders — both require ammo dealers to keep logs of their customers, which law enforcement says has proved helpful when investigating crimes. Beginning in January, such record-keeping will be required state-wide and, later in the year, a law will take effect requiring customers to undergo background checks when they purchase bullets.
EDITOR’S NOTE: I have been telling all of you this is the way the Liberal Democrats will be coming after your firearms. Over the years I have heard firearm owners claim they will never be able to take away all the guns in America, but in New York State they are planning on taxing every single bullet with a TAX, and now look what the Liberals are doing in California wanting to regulate the ammunition you purchase and log you in as the buyer. If you are buying ammo, surely you must have a firearm? Well guess what, you are in fact registering your firearm a different way. Stop and think of this? So without making this a campaign cry, you must think of who you want in office this fall, Democrats who want to regulate who can have a gun, or Republicans who believe in the Constitution? The VOTE is in your hands now come November 2018 and in 2020. Please get out and vote.
