Learn the basics of firearm safety and Wisconsin requirements

And consideration regarding the carry of a concealed weapon.

This is a safety course, not a training course. The course teaches

how to identify a loaded handgun and how-to safety unload it,

but not how to load or fire. This class meets the state’s education

requirements for students to acquire a Wisconsin CCW License/Permit.

Additional fees and applications are the responsibility of the

Student.

NRA Home Firearm Safety

Instructor is Ryan Skabroud

 

This NRA, Instructor lead certified course for safe gun

handling is conducted in the classroom only. Students

are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling: causes

of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain

action type; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe

storage; of firearms in the home; and the benefits of

becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.

Students will receive NRA materials including a Home Firearm

Safety Handbook and a course completion certificate.
