We are pleased to announce that 8 ½ years after the creation of Archery Tag® our vision of seeing this as a “legitimate” organized sport is now a reality! What most people refer to as “archery tag” (also called combat archery, arrow tag, and a variety of other names), we call Extreme Archery – THIS is the sport.
The International Extreme Archery Federation (IEAF) was formed to govern and oversee the sport of Extreme Archery. Its’ mission is to create an organized sanctioned sport where players can “compete with a purpose”. The action is much faster and intense than anything you have seen with Archery Tag® or ANY of the knockoffs! The field of play is much smaller and so is the new arrow, which flies faster than any other on the market!
Archery Tag® is proud to be the official equipment provider to the IEAF, along with Hummel North America as the official apparel partner.
Our first big kickoff event, the Vegas Open, is in Las Vegas Nevada, January 3-5 at the South Point Casino. Visit https://ieaf.org/events for more information about this amazing inaugural North American Open Tournament. The first-place team takes home a $10,000 cash prize. We invite all players (16 and up), regardless of background or experience. We also invite the knockoffs to send their best team.
