10/7/19 Meeting minutes

Attendees: Al Klingeisen, Emily and Tyler Endter, Margaret, Michelle and Matthew Pauwels, Harvey and Eileen Mleziva, Wayne Huske, Cathy and Dan Hinkle, Jean Duzeski, Leigh Duescher, Brian Stanelle.

Financial report through September: Checking ending balance=$7,673.57. Savings account ending balance=$5,858.29, and Thrivent savings account=$4,236.14.

Upcoming events:

• Dec 8 Luncheon at Gill’s— will be making refillable pinecones and cookie decorating again after lunch (12:30 sit-down dinner) Plan on arriving Noonish. We will have broasted chicken, potatoes and gravy, corn, stuffing and tortes. We will also have cookies from Cravings to decorate. RSVP via email, Facebook or call Al or Emily BY December 1 PLEASE!
• Next year tentative brat fry dates: Saturday April 25^th and Friday July 3 with second choice July 11. Al to book with Rob’s beginning of 2020.
• Herp Club event to be scheduled by Emily..looking at Sunday March 15 or 22 at Manitowoc Public Library.

Maritime museum summer watershed camp was cancelled due to lack of participation. Please sign up next year ASAP….this is an amazing opportunity for your kids/family to do some great learning activities outside. I will keep everyone updated on when dates are released for next year. We will sponsor your kids/grandkids at this camp or Woodland Dunes summer camps… just let us know and we will reimburse the cost.

Signs are up in Memory of Doris and Lester Cherney and there will be signs put up for Paul Suchan and in memory of Ryan Schenian to be put up as well when possible.

Norb Pritzl is now residing at Felician Village. We will send him a personal invite for Dec luncheon….plans to be made to either pick him up or have son bring if he’s interested in attending.

Discussion took place for starting a plaque of board members, deceased members….. tabled for moment.
