Grand Prairie, TX (April 20, 2020) – For 2020, Ameristep has taken its popular Care Taker and Doghouse hunting blinds and shrunk the footprint down to an ultra-compact 49.5×49.5 inch footprint, with a height of 65 inches and shooting width of 63 inches. With a weight of just 12 lbs. and a pack size of 6×38 inches, the blind is super easy to pick up and move quickly, yet still large enough for two hunters to use efficiently. Add to that Ameristep’s famous easy set-up hub system, which makes erecting and breaking down the blind a snap, and it’s easy to see why this blind is the ultimate choice for blind hunters on the go.
Ameristep has also taken the company’s most popular spring steel blind, the Doghouse, and downsized it to create the Doghouse Run & Gun. With a 55×55 inch footprint, a shooting width of 55 inches, a height of 61 inches, and a weight of just 8 lbs., the blind still has room for two hunters, but the more compact Doghouse Run & Gun allows for easy movement and quick set-up and takedown.
Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo covers both blinds, while inside, a black ShadowGuard™ coating ensures shadows and silhouettes won’t give up a hunter’s location. Other features include a Durashell™ Plus fabric shell with matte finish, rugged Spider Hub® frame for easy setup and takedown, brush-in loops for adding natural foliage, and easy-access doors that are both quiet to operate and large enough for easy, silent access.
