FIREDISC CHEF CHILI
INGREDIENTS
- 5 oz Ground beef (seasoned with salt & pepper)
- 2 tsp diced onions
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp Don Pico jalapenos
- 3 tbsp white wine
- One handful Fritos chips
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Tomato sauce or water – if necessary
DIRECTIONS
Place the FireDisc on high heat and add the olive oil. Sear the ground beef until nice and brown on both sides (about 2 minutes per side). Add the onions and sweet them for about 5 min, add the tomato paste and cook for another 5 min. Add the mustard, the Worcestershire and the Tabasco allow to cook for 2 minutes. Add the wine and let it reduce to 1/3 of the initial volume. If the chili becomes dry or you if you prefer add 2 tbsp of water or your favorite tomato sauce. Let it cook for 1 hour to 1 and half hours over medium heat adding the don pico jalapenos at the end. Serve atop Fritos Chips and enjoy!
