Tulsi Gabbard’s recent declassification of Biden’s “Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism” exposed a targeted attack on our Second Amendment rights, with a primary focus on “ghost guns” – privately made firearms that lack serial numbers. The documents show that this was all part of Biden’s plan, with the DOJ and ATF working in tandem to target both these firearms and the retailers who supply them. Gun Owners of America has rightly called this what it is: “Biden’s secret plan to eliminate the Second Amendment.” This is part of a larger effort to gradually erode gun rights, with “ghost guns” being just one step. The attempt to regulate and ultimately eliminate these firearms sets a dangerous precedent, signaling that any firearm could be next.

The government is using “ghost guns” as a scapegoat to impose unnecessary restrictions that limit Americans’ ability to build their own firearms. While Biden may no longer be president, the policies he set in motion continue to target firearms that law-abiding citizens have legally built and owned. By leveraging the DOJ and ATF to impose these restrictions retroactively, the government is punishing businesses and individuals who relied on prior ATF rulings, creating a dangerous precedent that threatens to expand control over firearm ownership under the guise of safety and counterterrorism.

It’s time to take action. We must demand that the rule empowering these unjust crackdowns be pulled and that these unnecessary restrictions on our rights come to an end. The DOJ and ATF are already weaponizing this framework to target responsible gun owners and businesses that have been operating within the law.
