The centerpiece technology in the new SEABORG is its new MAGMAX-G MOTOR. “The motor’s winding force is remarkable… In fact, the new SEABORG G1800M-RJ is 170% more powerful than our current SEBORG 1200,” said Martin. “As well, we increased the drag by 150% compared to the SEABORG 1200.” MEGATWIN is another game-changer. “With the push of a button, you can instantly drop into a lower gear for added power if you’re at a stalemate with a big fish,” said Martin. “Think of it like going from 4-high to 4-low to gain traction and really dig in.” Martin closed by noting the reel’s unique Bluetooth remote: “Just like you control a trolling motor with the remote, with the new SEABORG, you can manage key functions with the included remote.
