Crock-Pot BBQ Cola Wild Boar Recipe
What do you get when you mix wild boar, barbecue sauce, and cola? Only the most delicious slow-cooked pork you’ve ever tasted.

Serves: 6
Prep time: 10-15 minutes
Cook time: 17 hours
Ingredients:
- 1 wild boar roast
- 1 1/2 cups cola, divided
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (or make your own: homemade barbecue sauce recipe)
For sandwiches:
- Buns
- Coleslaw
Directions
- Cut all visible fat away from pork roast.
- Place roast in the bottom of the slow cooker. Poke holes throughout the roast.
- Pour 1/2 cup cola over the roast and set on low for 12 hours.
- Remove cooked roast and drain liquid.
- Shred the roast and return to the slow cooker. Add the barbecue sauce and remaining cola. Cook for another 5 hours – a must. Trust me, this Crock-Pot BBQ Cola Wild Boar Recipe is wonderful and well worth the wait.
- Enjoy slow-cooked wild boar as is, over steamed rice, or use it to make sandwiches. To make sandwiches: Add shredded pork to a bun, top with coleslaw, add top bun, and enjoy!
