Well hunters, how is your deer hunting season going so far? The weather this year sure has made hunting a bit more interesting compared to the last few years around here in Wisconsin. I have been seeing some nice posts of hunters getting their first deer and Congratulations to all who shot their deer in 2022.
One of the great scouting features I have been using over the years has been my Spartan camera systems. Everyone must replace their batteries and I do mine twice a year. Spartan cameras have been working for us and I only had one problem with my phone app. Contacted the company Support team and in a matter of days I had my app back working the way I wanted it to. I found out that it’s easier to email them, because calling hasn’t helped me as fast as an email. But, when I did speak to a lady on the phone, she helped me with my questions, and it took seconds to fix what I screwed up.

Remember everyone, Safety First when in the field. Remember the rules of safe gun handling and get some super good ear protection and eye protections.
One last thing I would like all of you to think about. If you wonder what to get the sports person in your family, how about a sportsman’s club membership? If you check out the Manitowoc County Fish & Game web page, it has all the county clubs listed and you can pick out a club to contact for a membership. Each club has single and family memberships. Memberships run from $5.00 a year to under $50.00 a year. Just think what you would spend going out on a weekend to eat or a date night. You could pay for a membership within a few hours of the date night or one drink.
