California’s Assembly continue to blast away at gun rights with SB 61, which limits semi-auto rifle purchases to one per individual, each month and AB 879, which requires individuals intending to sell or transfer precursor firearm parts to obtain a license or go through a licensed dealer. The legislature advanced AB 893 to prohibit firearms sales at Del Mar Fairgrounds beginning 2021; AB 1254 to virtually eliminate bobcat harvests; and AB 1669 to increase fees for consumers who purchase firearms.
