Become A Fishing Education Instructor!

Pass on your love of fishing by becoming a Fishing Education Instructor, certified through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Who: Fishing club members, youth leaders, classroom teachers, community center staff and civic leaders are encouraged to attend as a team or form a team at the workshop.
What: This training will certify you as a Fishing Education Instructor and provide you with tips and materials to lead fishing programs. We’ll even go fishing to do some practice teaching. Successful program models include adult education, community fishing outings, meet-ups for young adults, after-school fishing clubs, summer enrichment classes, day camps, school-family events and helping scouts earn merit badges.
When: Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Ho-Chunk House of Wellness, S2845 White Eagle Rd, Baraboo, WI 53913
Cost: This workshop is free. Your registration confirms your attendance. If you must cancel, please contact us immediately.

The registration process consists of:
Attending virtually? Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of your completed registration form AND completion of your background check by the DNR Division of Public Safety and Resource Protection. You will then receive a Zoom link for the classroom portions.
