Bags That Do It All: Plano Guide Series™

Grand Prairie, TX (March 5, 2020) Designed with equal attention to aesthetics and technology, Plano’s Guide Series™ tackle bags have never looked or functioned better.
Each of the new products in the Guide Series™ line features a hard-backed construction of rugged 1680 Denier fabric. The sturdy material will hold its color and shape for years, making it a
quality investment for those constantly on the water.
Other recent upgrades on the Guide Series™ tackle bags are precision laser-cut MOLLE attachment points. These small holes allow anglers to customize and affix their tackle bags with tools and smaller storage pouches meeting the needs of any angler. In addition, redesigned pockets improve overall access to items making the bag comfortable to use.
Heavy-duty, oversized zippers eliminate binding and make getting in and out of the Guide Series™ bag effortless. The all-new TPR molded base is extra rigid and has the gripping power necessary to keep the Guide Series™ planted on the deck in any fishing condition.
The New Guide Series™ Tackle Bags are available in four sizes. Standard 3500, 3600, and 3700 bags are available as well as the 3700 XL, for the fisherman that likes to bring it all. The 3700 XL has a few additional features its little brother doesn’t have. Integrated rod holders and backpack straps that can tuck out of the way make the 3700 XL the do-all tackle bag.
Plano’s Guide Series™ 3700 XL Tackle Bag headlines this line up. Like all new Guide Series™ Tackle Bags, the 3700 XL features the patent-pending magnetic Dropzone™. Located on the top of the lid, the Dropzone™ is designed to keep favorite baits and tools within grabbing distance. Dropzone™ employs extra-strong, rare-earth magnets that lock lures, tools and other small metal items in place. Anglers can even toss a lure from across the boat and Dropzone™ will grab them. Dropzone™ is so powerful, it will hold pliers in place even when the boat is running to the next honey hole. The Dropzone™ is a revolutionary innovation exclusively from the minds of Plano, and the Guide Series™ Tackle Bags are the first to see it come to life.
The new Guide Series™ doesn’t stop there. The Guide Series™ Blade Bag and Worm Wrap use the same ultra-rugged 1680 Denier fabric as the tackle bags and have the same MOLLE attachment points. The same oversized zippers form the tackle bags are also used to secure your favorite soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Both the Blade Bag and Worm Wrap include eight extra-large, zip-seal bags or eight worm-proof, zip-seal bags. Both have zippered internal pockets and finished with a large sturdy carry handle.
The New Plano Guide Series™ introduces the fishing world to the most handsome rod cases ever released. The single and double-rod cases use the same tough materials that go into the Guide Series™ Tackle Bags. Measuring 49″ in length, the cases are capable of holding either one or two, two-piece, eight-foot rods. Each case is built with sturdy carry handles and oversized zippers. The double case has a zippered side pocket for accessory storage.
Rounding out the line of rugged new Guide Series™ products is the Reel Locker. Using the same robust fabric and oversized zippers as the Guide Series™ Tackle Bags, the Reel Locker features the revolutionary molded TPR top and bottom. This extra-rigid base and top features no-slip, rubberized feet to guard against vibration no matter where the locker is stored. Lined with a soft-felt interior, it includes ten adjustable dividers, making it a perfect storage partner for favorite reels and electronics. Since electronics have become part of angling life, this locker is the perfect place to protect cameras, action cams, or even a depth finder when traveling. The Reel Locker has a sturdy carry handle and includes a large, padded shoulder strap making it the easiest way to transport your reels and other valuable fishing accessories.
