Grand Prairie, TX (January 20, 2020) – Turkey hunters can lure the wariest Toms with the unparalleled realism of the HDR Hen from Avian-X. Featuring details molded from hand-carved designs and interchangeable heads, the HDR (Heavy-Duty Realism) Hen always provides the right look to draw in the cagiest of long beards.
New this season, the HDR Hen adds to Avian-X’s Heavy-Duty Realism line of turkey decoys. Built off a master carving with impeccable feather detail and lifelike features, but blow-molded in rubber to give hunters an ultra-realistic decoy that shrugs off the abuse that comes with each hunt. The paint scheme is so realistic that it looks like it was fashioned by nature itself, with a flocked tail section that mimics a turkey’s natural sheen and eliminates glare.
The HDR Hen gives hunters the flexibility to change posture with two interchangeable heads. In seconds, hunters can transform the HDR Hen from an assertive stance to a submissive one. Use the outstretched head for more aggressive setups, or the resting head to signal a receptive hen. Pair the Hen with the equally as realistic HDR Jake decoy to create an enticing set up for every situation.
Hunters don’t have to worry about damaging their decoy, as the durable paint and flocked tail resists damage from the friskiest Toms and most aggressive hens. The molded rubber shrugs off the wear-and-tear a decoy endure from hastily being jammed into a vest and hurriedly thrown out in the field.
