EXPENSE PRIORITY: As a request from the membership at the June MGC Meeting, a director’s meeting was held to prioritize upcoming expenses and projects. Here is what was discussed, and the actions taken.
1) A/C & Furnace – A/C has been causing issues for awhile. Approval was given for Dale Heiptas to replace the Central Air and Furnace for under $5000.
2) Snowblower – We have the plow on the side by side which works great for the large ares. We have a Simplicity snowblower that is larger than we need, and has never ran properly. A snowblower is needed for walkways and fans. Approval was given to trade in the Simplicity and purchase a snowblower that meets our needs for $1000.
3) Center Skeet Fence – The two outside skeet fences have been replaced. The center fence is still original. Approval was given to replace the center fence as well for $1,300. This topic was also discussed and then voted on by the membership as well.
4) AED – The need for an AED at the Gun Club has been talked about for years. Approval was given to purchase one for $1500-$2000.
5) Skeet Lights – We have 2 new light poles for the far skeet field. They would need to have concrete bases poured for approximately $900, then running electrical, installation, plates and purchasing lights would also be needed. Approval was NOT given to work on this project at this time.
6) Painting Outside of Building – The Clubhouse exterior is quite faded. It would cost $1100 in paint to repaint the exterior. Approval was NOT given to work on this project at this time.
7) Trap Fan Concrete – The concrete is cracked and uneven on the trap fans. The topic of ways to fix or replace the fans was discussed. Approval was NOT given to work on this project at this time.
8) Beverage Cooler – The beverage cooler is quite old, but still working. A new one is $4000-$5000. Approval was NOT given to replace.
TROPHY NIGHT: Trophy night will be held Tuesday, October 23rd. Cocktails starting at 5:00, with food starting at 6:00.

ATA MARATHON SHOOT: We will be having an ATA Marathon Shoot Sunday, September 9th. Help marking and filling traps will be greatly appreciated.

-We have been having great participation from Manitowoc at the Wisconsin State Shoot. We will be sponsoring a high overall event $750 which was voted and agreed upon by membership.
-We will start having an annual meeting which will take place at the December Club Meeting. This will give us the ability to recap the year, plan the year ahead, and discuss plans.
