YOUTH SHOOTING: Prior to the club meeting, we had a youth shoot planning meeting to make sure everything is going to be lined up for another successful shoot. There are 478 trap, and 150 skeet signed up so far. Sign up closes May 9th. Shooting times will be Thursday 5:15pm-7:00pm (our kids) Friday 4:30pm-9:00pm, Saturday 7:30am-7:45pm, and Sunday 8:00am-3:45pm. If anybody has any media contacts, we have been trying to get this event publicized for the past couple years. We need lots of help to make this shoot run smoothly. A minimum of 12 trap markers/spotters during all times of the shoot will give enough help to allow a few minutes of a break time to the other helpers in between squads. We also need markers and pullers on the skeet range. Please sign up on the sheet if you are able to help out (even for a couple hours) We also can use a few more coolers. If you have raffle tickets out yet, Scott needs them back by the end of the week so the rest can be sold at the shoot. You can contact Scott Skattebo at (920)629-0370. The youth shoot will be held Thursday, May 16th through Sunday, May 19th this year. Donations are also greatly appreciated. Here is a link to the donation letter. Scott will bring the list of donors to the gun club. There will be no league shooting Thursday, May 16th.

CLUBHOUSE RESTROOM ADDITION: The final, state certified blueprint is posted on the bulletin board near the restroom. We have two years to complete the addition. Next month, we will have another building meeting, and get the print out for some bids.
SUMMER LEAGUE: Summer league has started. Teams can shoot Tuesdays or Thursdays. Our youth league shoots on Tuesdays, so there may be a little wait for an open trap. There will be no beer birds this year. You must be a current paid member to shoot on a team, or sub. Here is a link to the Summer League Flyer.

CLUB SHOOT: The MGC Club Shoot will be on Thursday, June 13th. All targets for the shoot must be shot that night. The shoot will consist of 16yd, skeet, and handicap. Ties will be shot off the following Thursday (June 20th) June 20th is also the rain date in the event of inclement weather.
-The renewal for our raffle license has been sent in.
-The semi load of targets has arrived. Thank you to those who helped get them unloaded and put in the garage, and to Scott for bringing his skidsteer.
-Our culvert is deteriorating, and gravel from the parking lot is falling through and plugging it. It will need replacement in the not to distant future.
Remember you can rent the clubhouse for private parties. The cost is $100, but if you clean up the clubhouse afterwards, then $50 will be refunded. See the bar director Rod Smith to make reservations.
The next meeting will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 4th at the clubhouse.
