The Kewaunee 3D Archery group holds its first version of “Friday Night Lights”.

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 8th when the Kewaunee 3D Archery group holds its first version of “Friday Night Lights”. The shoot will be our first event held under the trap range lights.
We will start registration of shooters at 5:00 PM with shooting to begin at 6:00 PM. Our plan is to have a minimum of 25 3D targets set out along our existing trap range. Targets will be placed at distances to provide a challenge yet not so extreme that shots miss their mark and the possibility arrows are lost. Normally our league does not allow rangefinders but in this scenario they will be allowed. The top shooter will be awarded first prize with additional prize money divided between other entries using the system similar to a “Lewis Shoot” format in trap shooting.
The cost for the shoot is $10 / shooter.
Our course setup has been strictly hunter equipment. During our annual Archery tourney we also welcome traditional hunting equipment. After discussion we will have three categories, traditional, hunter and competition/ target bows. We will do our best to accommodate all shooters with all types of equipment so all can enjoy the shoot.
Any payouts will be reflected in how many shooter are in each division. As is the case in during our summer sessions, no crossbows permitted.
The Club will be offering beverage and food specials. So, mark your calendars, reserve that evening (great family event) and watch this Facebook page for further information.
