The 2019 Wisconsin State Hunting Expo Opens and Runs February 22, 23, & 24, at Shopko Hall in Green Bay.
This year’s Expo will host over 130 exhibitors from around the World!
In addition to local out fitters the provinces of Canada, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Kansas and New Mexico. And if it’s the truly exotic, big game hunts that excite you, well, there are a dozen international outfitters capable of booking you a trip of a lifetime to multiple destinations including Africa, New Zealand, and more.
In addition to outfitters, some of Northeast Wisconsin’s best archery shops, seed companies, and outdoor retailers, hunting dog rescue’s Hunting dog puppies will also be in attendance. They are all here for one reason . . . to help facilitate successful hunts with their products or services. You will be able to browse archery equipment, guns, blinds, clothing, scents, trail cams, game calls, and all the latest gadgets intended to enhance a hunt. Whether it’s duck hunting or bear scents, trapping predators, or planning an African safari, you will find an expert at this year’s Expo that has the answers, gear, or services you’re looking for.
Jared Scheffler from” Whitetail Adrenaline” will be on hand all weekend along with Television Host Tom Maranda. A solid schedule of seminars representing hunting’s best and most knowledgeable experts Including Wade Jeske, Jeff Fredrick, Bill Wiesner, Art Helin Tom Mesnard and many More. The Kids zone will feature: Kids archery, laser shoot, face painting and animal balloons. The Wisconsin Hunters Education Instructors Association introduces youngsters to the shooting sports with their hunter safety courses and will be set up with their air rifle range in the youth zone.
Delta Waterfowl has a great venue where kids can build wood duck houses. It’s a great opportunity for kids to learn conservation is a responsibility that comes with the sport of hunting.
Lena Swamp Archery, Healthy Rack Minerals and SCI sponsor the Antler and Trophy competition this year. Successful hunters can bring their whitetail, elk, and mule deer antlers or bear skulls to the show for measuring as well as African exotics. Safari Club International does the official scoring. All entries will be entered into a random drawing for a compound bow package from Lena Swamp Archery.
