Wisconsin Firearms Coalition’s 2026 Fight For Your Gun Rights, VOTE NOV 3rd.

CONFIDENTIAL MEMO

Dear SPORTSMEN:

I’ll get right to the point: gun owners need to dig in and fight like hell or we’ll be facing a disaster in Madison next year!

Evers and the Democrats aren’t hiding what they want to do to our gun rights. We’ve stopped everything they’ve thrown at us over the last couple of years.

But if election night comes and goes and gun owners don’t make the Left pay a price, we may lose it all next session.

That’s not hyperbole, it’s the reality on the ground.

Right now, the Left thinks the political winds are at their backs. And they may be right.

Midterm elections are always tough on the party that controls the White House.

Trump is not on the ballot; how much of his base turns out without having him to vote for? And how many people don’t vote, angry about ongoing wars and gas prices?

That’s what worries me.

I’ve spent a lot of time talking with people around the state about what they’re seeing on the ground.

And I’m telling you, if gun owners decide there is no point in showing up on November 3, we’ll be giving the Democrats a green light to attack in January.

So please FUND OUR FIGHT!

That’s because the Democrats will know that they’ve beaten us, that gun owners just don’t have the will to fight anymore.

We can’t let that happen. The consequences would be enormous and would effectively disarm us and future generations of Wisconsinites.

The good news is that the Wisconsin Firearms Coalition is preparing a major program to hold the line.

We have just completed our critical 2026 “Plan for November,” and I wanted to make sure you saw it right away.

But time is running out. And I’m counting on your generous financial support to help us put this plan into action.

NOTE: THE DETAILS OF THIS PLAN ARE HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL! IT’S IMPORTANT THAT ONLY WIFC MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS SEE THIS EMAIL.

As you’ll see below, I’ve budgeted $124,500 to put WIFC’s “Plan for November” into action.

Subtracting money already allocated for this program, we still must raise $44,500 between now and October 20, to run this program at full speed.

I know that’s a lot. But there are A LOT of critical races in the Assembly and the Senate that we need to focus on, and the Democrats are likely going to spend tens of millions on those races.

The truth is that WIFC spent a lot of money blocking all of Evers’s gun control agenda last session and filing our Amicus Brief in the Supreme Court just last month. Now we need your help to send a message in the general election…or the Left will run wild.

I cannot begin to explain what a DISASTER that would be, not only in Congress but right here in Madison.

The Democrats have been waiting for this chance for a long time. If they can convince their entire caucus that there is no longer anything to fear from gun owners at election time, we’ll see an immediate push on bills like:

  1. Semiautomatic rifle and magazine BANS; this legislation would BAN the possession and sale of defined semiautomatic firearms and their magazines, effectively outlawing over 200 firearms and making criminals out of Wisconsinites.
  2. Universal Background Checks on private gun transfers; S.B. 336 / A.B. 325 would prohibit most private firearm transfers unless they went through a federally licensed dealer and the recipient passed a background check. Violations could mean up to nine months behind bars, fines as high as $10,000, and loss of firearm possession rights.
  3. Red Flag Gun Confiscation Orders; S.B. 329 would have created Wisconsin Extreme Risk Protection Orders, allowing courts to temporarily prohibit a person from possessing firearms under specified circumstances and establishing procedures for restraining orders and injunctions.
  4. Mandated Firearms Storage laws; these proposals would impose new government requirements dictating how Wisconsinites must secure and store firearms inside their own homes. Failure to comply can land you with FELONY charges.

And this would honestly be just the beginning.

Our Second Amendment freedoms are THE FREEDOMS that protect the rest — it’s what keeps criminals and our government in check.

That’s why the Left is trying to obliterate our gun rights in Madison. They want to disarm their political opposition; and we all know why.

We can’t let that happen. That’s why Second Amendment supporters need to stand up and fight back hard right NOW.

There are so many races and situations across our state where gun owners can punish vulnerable Democrats, including:

  • Senate District 31. Sen. Jeff Smith. This is a Democratic-held Senate seat with a plausible pro-gun pickup opportunity; Harris received about 51% in the district in 2024. Smith is a sponsor of SB 336 and SB 329. We need to expose his record to gun owners in SD31!
  • Assembly District 94. Dem Rep. Steve Doyle won reelection in 2024 by only 217 votes, while Trump carried the district by 794 votes. Marquette categorizes the 2026 contest as a competitive Democratic-held district. Doyle also cosponsored AB 325, the Statewide Gun Registration legislation.
  • Assembly District 55. Rep. Nate Gustafson carries a 100% pro-gun rating from WIFC and has been outspoken in defense of Second Amendment rights. This November, voters will decide whether to return him to Madison or elect his Democratic challenger.

Of course, this is just a sampling of many legislative races as we head into November. There are Congressional races. And of course we need to hammer on statewide races, too!

The bottom line is simple: we need to send a message and remind the Democrats that they will pay a price for every inch of freedom they try to take from us!

And we need to hit hard.

And we’re going to, using:

1) A series of 15-, 30- and 60-second digital ads, breaking down the anti-gun records that dozens of elected gun-grabbers are trying to keep secret;

2) An exhaustive texting program, putting facts right onto the phones of gun owners. We’ll provide survey results, voting histories, bill numbers, and more;

3) A hard-hitting radio (and perhaps even TV ad) campaign hitting the biggest gun control supporters in key districts across the state!

But I need your help to put our plan into action. We still must raise $44,500 — and time is running out!

Won’t you please agree to your most generous gift of $100 or even $250 to help us put it into action?

If that’s too much, maybe you can afford $50 or at least $25?

Whatever you can give, please act IMMEDIATELY.

The 2026 elections are absolutely critical for gun owners.

Some people want to give up, and surrender Wisconsin to the Democrats.

We say the hell with that! We’re going to fight with everything we’ve got… and I hope you’ll stand with us!

We’ve already launched large portions of this program but I am depending on you to help us cover these costs.

So please rush me your most generous contribution of $250, $100 or at least $50 or $25 at once!

For Wisconsin,

Ben Dorr

Wisconsin Firearms Coalition’s
2026 Plan to Hold the Line Budget

Goal: FIGHT LIKE HELL TO send a message to TONY EVERS and Madison Democrats that they will pay a steep price for trying to disarm us!

Digital Ad Campaigns (Statewide) — Cost: $33,100
Run hard-hitting digital ads on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Roku and more, ensuring that every gun owner in the state learns the truth about their incumbent’s voting record to disarm us. Using social media, we can micro-target our ads down to individual city blocks for legislative races! This program will allow us to connect with over a million gun voters.

Texting Program (District Specific) — Cost: $24,500
Connect with hundreds of thousands of gun owners in our targeted legislative races. These alerts are affordable and give gun owners critical information in the days before they head to the polls. Texting alerts are effective since they appear right on a gun owner’s phone. In some districts, we have the data we need. We’ll need to buy data in others.

Media Program (Statewide) — Cost: $46,900
A combined radio and TV ad campaign in races where the margins are tightest and a last-minute media blitz could educate a massive number of gun voters about the gun control their Democrat incumbent has voted for. This airtime is expensive, but nothing allows us to communicate with more gun owners faster.

Internet and Email Program (District Specific) — Cost: $20,000
Pay for a series of five emails in targeted districts — including three deploys to a statewide pro-Second Amendment prospect list — and two rounds of emails exposing the records of anti-gun politicians. These cut through the noise of social media and give gun owners something they can forward to friends and come back to read any time.

Program Cost: $124,500
(Less money allocated): ($80,000)
Total Outstanding Budget: $44,500
