Learn To Hunt And Trap Raccoons With The DNR
Want to learn more about harvesting raccoons? Join the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources at Governor Dodge State Park to learn the basics of raccoon trapping and hunting.
This two-day event (Oct. 24-25) will be divided between raccoon trapping and raccoon hunting.
The hands-on program will be led by certified trapper education instructors and will cover raccoon trapping techniques, hunting with hounds, hunting with electronic calls and fur handling demonstrations.
Dress in layers — you will be outside all day. Boots and pants are highly recommended. Please bring a notebook and pen.
All trapping and hunting equipment will be provided.
This class costs $50 to attend.
Registration is required. To register, visit Go Wild and log into your account. From your dashboard, click on Manage Safety Education, then click Search for Class. Search Learn to Hunt in Iowa county, then click Enroll.
