MUSKEGON, Mich. (July 27, 2026) – Every summer, blue-winged and green-winged teal head north to breed across the prairie potholes and boreal wetlands of the U.S. and Canada. Come fall, they turn around and beat everybody else south. Blue-wings go first, and they don’t mess around about it. Most years they’re clearing out before other ducks have even started packing.
