Anthony Imperato Is the Spring 2026 Cover Story for Inside Firearms
Anthony Imperato didn’t set out to build the most recognized lever-action brand in America. He set out to build something he could be proud of.
His cover story interview for Inside Firearms covers the full arc of how Henry Repeating Arms came to be, from a home equity loan and a 7,000-square-foot garage in Brooklyn to 700 employees in Wisconsin and the broadest lever-action lineup in the industry, and then some.
The interview, written by Michaelean Pike, goes deep on the values that have defined Henry since day one: manufacturing in the United States without exception, a lifetime warranty that means exactly what it says, and a customer service standard that Imperato built by answering phones and emails personally for most of the company’s history. Henry still operates a live phone line 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The piece also covers the Guns for Great Causes program, which Imperato founded in 2003, and has supported pediatric cancer research, families of fallen law enforcement and first responders, wildlife conservation, and firearm safety education for more than two decades. And it touches on what’s ahead for Henry, including new products in development and the continued growth of the Special Products Division.
“If you mention the name Henry, there’s positivity associated with it. We treated you right. That’s the most important thing to me.”
