WWA’s efforts to bring a responsible sandhill crane hunting season to Wisconsin are moving forward in a BIG way.
Yesterday, the state Assembly passed AB 117 — legislation that will allow a responsible sandhill crane hunt in Wisconsin. This is the first time a bill authorizing a sandhill crane hunt has passed a legislative house in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Waterfowl Association and our partners have worked extremely hard over the past two years to get to this point, but our work is not finished. The legislation still needs to pass the state Senate and be signed by the Governor before it can become law — and we need your help to make that happen. |
