Subject:       Leede Completes National Outdoor Power Study

Leede Research, the Manitowoc-based marketing information company, with offices in Wisconsin and Minnesota has announced that it is in the process of completing a major national consumer study on household use of outdoor power equipment. In recent years, Leede has become a significant voice in the future of outdoor power, working with over half the major brands in the category.  Leede provides information to these major players for marketing, product development and voice of the customer applications.

The NextWave – Consumer Attitude Program will complete 1200 completed interviews across the US in a balanced sampling process.  The study will gather information on consumer use of mowing, snow and handheld tools like leaf blowers, string trimmers and hedge trimmers.  There will be focused on battery power conversion, robotic mowers and smart home technology focused on outdoor power. Leede is doing this program as an independent syndicated study that will be made available to the industry through a variety of sources.

“We have become a voice in development for the outdoor power industry,” said Dean Halverson, CEO at Leede.  “This study is designed to provide valuable information on how technology will drive change in the tools we use in our yards every week.” Information will help us understand the adoption of battery technology, and how robotic mowers are the next wave of home care.  The study is expected to complete interviewing and coming weeks and be released in the next month.  Leede has a 40 year plus history of information tools in both consumer and business segments.
