83rd Bird Breakfast Tradition Is Back at Woodland Dunes

Two Rivers, WI – Woodland Dunes will once again host its annual springtime tradition, the 83rd Bird Breakfast, on Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 – 11:00am.

“Bird Breakfast is an annual tradition in Manitowoc County as well as a celebration of International Migratory Bird Day. We are so fortunate to be located near Lake Michigan, a major flyway for migratory birds,” stated Jessica Johnsrud, coordinator of the program.

The traditional breakfast includes ham, pancakes, fruit compote, real maple syrup, and a beverage, including certified bird-friendly coffee. Woodland Dunes members: $7/per person; non-members: $9; kids under 4 are free.

Guided bird walks are also part of this family-friendly event. Bring your binoculars if you have them.  Please note the different hike locations and times.

7:00am: Goodwin Rd trails, registration required
8:00am: Willow Trail, registration required
9:00am: Cattail Trail
10:00am: Cattail Trail

This 83-year tradition is recognized statewide by bird lovers and is offered as a unique way to encourage folks and families to get out in spring, walk trails, and listen to the new sounds of the season.

Reservations for the breakfast and two of the guided hikes are appreciated. Call 920-793-4007 or email Jess at [email protected]
