Wisconsin: Public Hearing on Proposed Deer Management

Wisconsin sportsmen are not strangers to animal extremists and other radical elements working to cancel our way of life forever. They already promised to continue their relentless assault in 2025.  The only way we are going to be able to slow them down is by being more actively involved and engaged in the process of protecting our values and heritage.

On Wednesday, January 8 at 5:00 pm, Wisconsin sportsmen will have the opportunity to do just that, as the Department of Natural Resource is holding a virtual public hearing on proposed changes in the state’s deer management unit boundaries.

This proposal includes the return to habitat-based deer management units in the Northern Forest, Central Forest, and select Metropolitan Sub-Unit Zone boundaries. Public comments can also be submitted by January 10. For the official press release, more information, and to participate in submitting public comments or attending the virtual public hearing, click here.

There has never been a more important time in Wisconsin history than now to be involved and engaged in protecting our way of life. We each must make a commitment to ourselves and future generations to stand up to fight, protect, and defend against the rising tide of animal extremism.

Share this email with your family and friends and get a commitment from them to kick in when needed. Our values must be secured today, and together, we can secure our cherished traditions for future generations.

The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
