This will be our first Texas Coastal Field to Table and we are covering land and see on this one. We will have 3 morning Sandhill Crane hunts and possibly mix in some waterfowl as well. In the afternoons we will do some inland fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout.

The areas around East and West Matagorda Bay have long been known for being a haven for migratory waterfowl.  Having several wildlife refuges that harbor huge numbers in the area, insures the great hunting opportunities.  Coastal Plains uses the bays and marshes as their hunting land as well as private prairie waterholes and flooded fields.

Our Chef team will work with you on proper field care of waterfowl and fish. In the evenings the Chefs will assign recipes to each team of 2, where each team will work hands on in the kitchen to help prepare a wild game feast.

Everyone will go home with a cooler full of game and fish they harvested themselves
