FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

heiknbrew: an early evening of hiking, craft brews, and live music

Enjoy hiking? How about a good, locally crafted brew? Well, now you can enjoy both at the same time.

Woodland Dunes will be holding its second annual heiknbrew on Friday, September 6, from 4:30-8:00 pm. A limited number of tickets are available and on sale now. This event sold out last year, so it’s recommended to buy tickets early.

There will be nine local craft brew stations and three wine stations on the trails and in the butterfly garden. Food, bucket raffles, and live music performed by Glo & Joe will also be part of this fun fall event. Tickets are on sale now and $40 for members and $50 non-members.

If you would like to participate in the evening, but forego the tastings, there is a place for you. Water and soda will be available along with your food and entertainment for a ticket price of $30.

There will also be nature trivia to tease your brain, and plenty of room on the grounds for you to bring a lawn chair to relax and listen to the music.

Tickets are available at Woodland Dunes Nature Center, online, and at various craft beer outlets.
