Through a new production and blade sharpening process Rage has been able to improve blade sharpness by up to 67% over previous Rage models, and by up to 90% sharper when compared to similar competitor blades. Testing was conducted using an industrial edge tester specifically designed to measure the force required to cut through a standardized, calibrated medium. Consistency was maintained throughout the testing process, and upon final results, the new-and-improved blades from Rage bested themselves, and the competitive set. Test data proved conclusively that less force was required to cut the test medium, with results showing that new blades are well within the test threshold of “razor sharp”. So what does this mean for bowhunters? Bow shot animals die from hemorrhaging with a greater loss of blood, equaling quick and humane kill. The new blades from Rage provide cleaner cuts, deeper penetration and blood trails even more massive than Rage shooters have come to expect. These results become even more critical on shots that are less-than-perfect 10-rings.
