Well, here we were standing along side the woods and listening to hear any turkeys. The fields were all wet, temps were near 40 degrees, I heard a coyote barking in the distance and soon a turkey sounded off. Took out the call, called a few times and what a bunch of returning calls. Wish my grandson was here with me, he would love to call them. Drove down my lane and boy it’s still muddy in spots, wish we would have some warmer days to help dry out everything and allow the farmers a chance to get their crops into the ground on time. I would like to hear from others who are are turkey hunters how they are doing, just leave a message below.
