Wisconsin S3DA Hosts Indoor Regional

Williamsburg, KY – Wisconsin S3DA held an Indoor Regional at Old 45 Archery in Hortonville, Wisconsin. With over 200+ spectators on hand, the archers really put on a show! Wisconsin S3DA held another event in conjunction with Illinois on the same day which made for an incredible day of competition in Wisconsin.

S3DA WI State Coordinator, Dan Schroeder stated, “In my wildest dreams, I never thought three years ago would take us to this level of competition. S3DA has exploded and spread like wildfire through this state as it appears to be through the rest of the nation as well. This program has given kids a lot of amazing opportunities to travel, learn, make friends, respect others and it provides scholarship opportunities. I am beyond proud of these kids and some days I learn more from them than I could ever teach them.”

Archers and parents alike had a lot of fun. Many of the parents suggested the highlights of the day for them was getting to see all of their friends from other clubs and teams, while also meeting all the new kids that have become involved with the program. They said that it was impressive to see the growth in each of the children from one year to the next.

One of the grandparents stated, “This is my first time to watch anything like this and I am so impressed on how the kids interact with each other and how they conduct themselves. I know I will be coming back to watch my grandchildren compete as this venue was a great shoot.”

Blazin Arrows Coach, Sam Mallmann stated, “S3DA has and is growing in Wisconsin at an amazing pace. We should all be proud to be a part of this. This program has given kids a drive for archery and has gotten some kids outdoors that may have never gotten to experience that if they did not get involved with the program.”
