                                        Subject:     March Monthly Unit Meeting

The Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game announced that its March meeting will be held at the Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 on Thursday, March 5^th, at 7pm. Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.  It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.

This will be a normal business meeting, with no speaker currently scheduled, but updates will be provided by groups in attendance.  There will also be discussion of Fish & Game Night at 7 Lakes on April 3^rd.  This is the club’s annual fundraiser and will feature a special raffle for a handmade crappie rod, 22 rifle and handmade buck knife.  More information can be found at the website.

It was noted that the club is offering memberships for 2020.  Membership was down slightly in 2019 and support is important to future activities.  Membership in the Manitowoc Unit is only $5 annually and funds support a variety of community projects.

The Manitowoc Unit meets the first Thursday of each month and meetings are open to the public.  Those interested in the outdoors and especially youth are encouraged to attend these meetings.  There is a speaker or presentation each meeting, followed by a short business meeting.  Lunch and refreshments are then available.  For more information on the clubs that are part of the organization, membership and their resources can be found at:
