Special Delivery: CamelBak hits “GiveBak” goal at 10,000 donations

In April, the brand launched its new “GiveBak” program with a goal of giving away 10,000 Eddy+ style bottles to healthcare workers and others in need during the COVID-19 fight. With easy, one-hand operation and a straw-based design, the Eddy+ was an ideal model to donate at this time.

Soon after launching GiveBak, CamelBak began getting requests and fulfilling a need by shipping water bottles across the U.S. and Canada. By late April, they had sent 5,000 bottles, and counted 8,000 given away by the end of May. CamelBak crossed the 10,000 mark in June.

In return for their donations, CamelBak received multiple thank you letters and photos of appreciative workers holding a new CamelBak Eddy+ with – presumably – smiles under the masks they were wearing.

Congrats to CamelBak on putting together a successful program on the fly and supporting people on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight.
