Built-In Cocking Device, and Lighted Scope in the new Invader 400™

Mogadore, OH.  Wicked Ridge Crossbows, known for producing top value, precision performance crossbows, introduced its new Invader 400 model at the 2020 ATA Trade Show in Indianapolis, IN. The next generation of the best-selling Wicked Ridge Invader models is an incredible 40 feet-per-second faster than its predecessor.  Proudly built in America, it features an ultra-lite stock with built-in cocking device that allows you to effortlessly and accurately cock your crossbow and is designed for the ultimate in handling, durability, and maneuverability.

“The Invader has been our best-selling Wicked Ridge model for over 10 years,” said TenPoint® CEO, Rick Bednar.  “The new Invader 400’s performance, cocking devices, and scope take this model to a new level of value.”

Built to perform in the tightest of shooting situations, the narrow 185-pound bow assembly consists of a lightweight riser and machined aluminum limb pockets fitted with new 11” WRX™ double-laminated limbs. Powered by NEW speed designed, 5S Cams™ and DynaFLIGHT 97 string and cables, the bow assembly measures a narrow 15-inches wide and drives an arrow down-range up to a blazing 400 feet-per-second.

The Invader’s unique stock design, engineered to lighten the crossbow and improve handling, includes a built-in ACUdraw™ cocking device that reduces the force required to cock the crossbow to only 5-pounds or ACUdraw 50™ cocking device that reduces the draw weight by 50%. Molded from dampening glass-filled polypropylene to increase strength and reduce weight, the stock is built to withstand years of hunting.

Its fully integrated fore-grip is backed up with elongated safety wings to help keep the shooter’s hand safely below the bowstring release path. A fully enclosed trigger guard provides added safety as well. In addition, the stock features a picatinny rail below the front of the barrel to mount additional accessories. Finally, like all Wicked Ridge crossbows, the stock is fitted with TenPoint’s DFI™ (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and ultra-crisp 3 ½-pound trigger.

Upon easy, 1-bolt assembly, the advanced design measures an easy-to-handle 35 ½-inches long and weighs in at a lightweight 6-pounds.

Pre-sighted at the factory, the Invader 400 is double-dip fluid imaged in the NEW PEAK® camo pattern and is equipped with either the ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50 cocking device.

Its ready-to-hunt package includes:

  • ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50 Cocking Device
  • TenPoint 3x Pro-View™ Illuminated Scope
  • 3 Alpha-Nock arrows

Invader 400 MSRP:

  • $669.99 with ACUdraw
  • $569.99 with ACUdraw 50

All Wicked Ridge crossbows are American Built by TenPoint Crossbow Technologies in Mogadore, OH.
