Manitowoc County Conservationists will again have a Hall of Fame Banquet

Manitowoc County Conservationists will again have a Hall of Fame Banquet this summer to honor those who have made a difference in Manitowoc County. Maribel Sportsmen’s Club will be hosting the banquet on Wednesday, June 21 at their club in the new building. Social is at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., and award presentation at 7 p.m. Persons that will be enshrined into the Manitowoc County Conservationists Hall of Fame will be Elmer Schill-sponsored by the Kellnersville Sportsmen’s Club, Dan Cichantek-sponsored by the Manitowoc City Unit of Fish and Game, Jim Knickelbine-sponsored by the Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen, and Scott Skattebo-sponsored posthumously by Manitowoc Gun Club. Those persons receiving Special Achievement Awards are Jack Eisner-sponsored by Maribel Sportsmen’s Club, Jeff Dietrich-sponsored by Whitelaw Sportsmen’s Club, Glen and Marlene Rezek-sponsored by Larrabee Sportsmen’s Club, Gregg Wolf-sponsored by Manitowoc City Unit of Fish and Game, and Mike Krizizke-sponsored by Westshore Sportsmen’s Club. Corporate Awards will go to Crow Bar of Mishicot, owned by Jeff and Andrea Novak-sponsored by Mishicot Sportsmen’s Club and Schuh Factory of Valders, owned by Tom and Jolene Schuh-sponsored by Clarks Mills Sportsmen’s Club. This banquet is open to the public to come and honor those who have made a lifetime commitment to conservation in our county. Tickets are $20 per person, which will include the meal, can be obtained by contacting Dan Becker at (920) 645-8953. The large plaque holding all the names of past Hall of Fame Award winners, that was formerly at City Limits, has now found its new home at Maribel Sportsmen’s Club.
