The Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game announced that its June meeting will be held at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 on Thursday, June 6th at 7pm. The Organization works to promote and protect the rights of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.

Guest speaker for the June is James Downey, the new Director of the Neustadter Nature Center at Collins Marsh.  James will give an update on activities and programming at the marsh and share some of the projects that are underway there.  He will also answer questions on the marsh and how people in the area can access one of the largest marsh environments of its kind in Wisconsin.

The club also wanted to remind members and the public that the July meeting of the organization is cancelled due to the July 4th holiday period.  Normal meeting schedule will resume in August.  The club wishes everyone a safe holiday season enjoying the great outdoors that is Manitowoc County.

The Manitowoc Unit meets the first Thursday of each month and meetings are open to the public.  Those interested in the outdoors and especially youth are encouraged to attend these meetings.  More information on the clubs that are part of the organization, membership and their resources can be found at:
