JAGEMANN ANSWERS CALL FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) ASSISTANCE REQUEST AMID CORONAVIRUS DESEASE 19 (COVID19) PANDEMIC
MANITOWOC, Wis. –Jagemann is pleased to announce the recent award of a timely project producing disposable face shields to meet the needs of protecting healthcare workers during the COVID19 pandemic.
The idea was born several weeks ago, when Nathan Dudney, Director of Sales and Business Development, was talking with his wife, a physician in Tennessee, about current need for more PPE. Following that, Dudney took the idea back to the engineering and production team at the plant in Murfreesboro.
The Murfreesboro plant is now manufacturing disposable face shields. Not only are they helping frontline healthcare workers, but it is also enables Jagemann to continue to employ its 90 employees as they provide for their families. Jagemann is working diligently to source sufficient material and capacitize lines that previously produced components for Ford Motor Company. The goal remains to increase capacity and output to provide as many face shields as possible to frontline workers.
“We are pleased to be able to continue employing our staff while assisting in the fight against coronavirus helping keep the country’s healthcare workers safe and protected,” said Dudney. At time of press, the company had open orders for more than 350,000 face shields. Jagemann has made a commitment to produce more than 1,000,000 face shields in the next 60 days.
