Well it’s mosquitoes and tick season now. There is a product I read about and I’m using it now called DEAD DOWN WIND. It is the best in the insect defense, and that is my opinion. I have been using it for a few days now and I was really surprised how nice the cedar smell was. It is DEET FREE and is kid safe. You can apply it to your skin and clothing. Like all sprays, never ever spray near your eyes or mouth. To apply to your face, spray onto your hand and apply to the face. While fishing on the river, it worked just great. All those trees along the banks harbor tons of bugs all the time and this Dead Down Wind worked like a million bucks. I will always be carrying a can of it from now on in my fishing bag.
