In just the last few months, the Internal Revenue Service has bought almost 5,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition

Dear Roger —

3,151,500 rounds of pistol ammo.

Over 350,000 rounds of shotgun ammo.

Almost 1.5 million rounds of rifle ammo.

In just the last few months, the Internal Revenue Service has bought almost 5,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition — spending almost $700,000 in the process.

The obvious question is why would a bunch of bean counters who spend their days staring at computer screens need to stock up on millions of rounds of ammo?

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, one of the leading Second Amendment fighters in Congress, discussed this in a recent media interview saying:

“This is so bizarre to me, but yeah, just between March and June 1st, they spent about $700,000 purchasing ammunition at the IRS. The IRS should be people in cubicles with green shades and calculators. They shouldn’t be people with guns and ammo.”

Every gun owner in America remembers how impossible it was to find ammo in 2021. And while it’s a little more available these days, it’s sporadic at best, and still very expensive.

And with just one branch of the federal government buying 5 million rounds of ammo over the course of a few months, it seems clear that the government is trying to make it impossible for gun owners like you and me to be able to buy any for ourselves!

Congressman Gaetz echoed this:

“We’re asking questions about it, and frankly, there is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have an entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply while at the same time making it harder to produce ammo…

…you cannot fully utilize the compliment of your Second Amendment rights if you are unable to acquire ammunition in your own country because your government has reduced the production of that ammunition and on the other hand tried to soak up the supply of it.”

For our own government to try to criminalize the Second Amendment and make it all but impossible for us to buy firearms and ammunition — while they stockpile mass quantities of it — is a very ominous sign!

This is the type of government that our Founding Fathers warned us about — this is the type of government that exists in almost every other country on earth.

And as history shows, every time a tyrannical government disarms their citizens, the nation immediately descends into crime, brutality, and mass murder at the hands of their own government.

Gun owners in America have been under siege for the last eighteen months, fighting to preserve our gun rights against an increasingly tyrannical federal government.

I know that it’s been intense.

You’ve fired off hundreds of emails to politicians during that time. You’ve made countless phone calls to Washington, D.C. and our own state legislature. You’ve donated repeatedly.

Thank you for everything that you’ve done to help us hold the line. Please don’t get tired of this fight as our children and grandchildren are counting on us to preserve and protect their freedoms, as our grandparents did for us!

If we lose our freedoms, we will never get them back.

Keep fighting!
