FRIENDS OF THE BRANCH RIVER WATERSHED UP COMING ACTIVITIES, CHECK IT OUT !

June 8 11 – 2 pm Come out to Dodge Preserve for our Family Day! Come catch crayfish, learn about river life from 11 – 12ish. Enjoy a light lunch and some exploring or do a make and take rock turtle until around 1 pm when we learn about monarch butterflies with Ann!

Plug 11006 Reifs Mills Rd, Whitelaw, WI 54247 into your GPS–watch for Friends of Branch River signage for parking. It’s about a 1/2 mile marked trail hike from the road down to the cabin…. we will have a wagon to transport people but you are more than welcome to walk the marked trail, too! This is a FREE event open to the public. Donations appreciated to help offset costs of our events. Branch River invasives removal day late spring/early summer when river levels down—remove crayfish, pick up garbage from river. Watch FB page for more details or become a member for updated emails, mailings. We do have some nets but if you have medium sized fishing nets, those work great too! (Smaller netting and medium length handles optimal)
