Crock-Pot BBQ Cola Wild Boar Recipe

For sandwiches:

  • Buns
  • Coleslaw

 

Directions

  1. Cut all visible fat away from pork roast.
  2. Place roast in the bottom of the slow cooker. Poke holes throughout the roast.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup cola over the roast and set on low for 12 hours.
  4. Remove cooked roast and drain liquid.
  5. Shred the roast and return to the slow cooker. Add the barbecue sauce and remaining cola. Cook for another 5 hours – a must. Trust me, this Crock-Pot BBQ Cola Wild Boar Recipe is wonderful and well worth the wait.
  6. Enjoy slow-cooked wild boar as is, over steamed rice, or use it to make sandwiches. To make sandwiches: Add shredded pork to a bun, top with coleslaw, add top bun, and enjoy!
